ACTIVITIES
Creative Forum meets on a regular basis every second month. The meetings are organised as workshops and by different themes. At each workshop the forum invites different local, national or international knowledge persons and “challengers.” At the workshops the forum debates different ideas for activities that can strengthen the creative industries in Copenhagen. In addition to the regular meetings, the forum conducts specific research of effects of activities in other cities and countries. Thus the work takes many forms. Here below is listed the themes of the Creative Forum’s focus for 2010-2011:WORKSHOP 1
• Creative zones/hubs:
• Concrete challenges, models and experiences from Denmark.
• Creative frame work conditions and city planning
WORKSHOP 2
• ’From hub to hot spot:
• what are the most important elements to achieve (international) status as hot spot for certain sectors of the creative industries?
• Visibility, self consciousness and sale (customers/tourism/international profile):
• research of activities that stimulate the interest of Copenhagen’s international profile(s).
WORKSHOP 3
• Sale of creative products and services – sale/marketing and demand:
- to ensure a higher survival rate among creative entrepreneurs.
WORKSHOP 4
• Growth conditions for creative businesses:- Employment increase, development of competences: here under financing and investment for creative actors and industries, growth possibilities for creative businesses in a labour market perspective, growth strategy for artists and other creatives, working with companies.
